The rockets red glare

One of the disadvantages of being a journalist is you end up working a lot of holidays.  This Fourth of July Found me at the local high school watching city fireworks show which returned to the school’s stadium after a one year hiatus.

I missed last year’s show so I had to scratch my head, check my notes and hope for the best as I photographed the pyrotechnics from atop the home side bleachers.

The short seemed very short and since I was shooting time exposers to capture multiple fireworks bursts it felt like I didn’t take too many picture.  I still struggle with capturing the finale but i managed to get one or two nice displays.
