Aerial art
Pyrotechnics bursting in a dazzling display of color and sound is a Fourth of July tradition and capturing the aerial artistry can be somewhat of a challenge.
Photographing an explosion in midair takes a little of planning. The right camera angle and correct focal length help a frame a section of sky for the bursting colors.
Exposures for the fireworks vary from a just a few seconds to a half a minute to record multiple bursts and record the fireworks trail skyward.
Awesome shots!! I still haven’t quite gotten the hang of shooting fireworks. Your photos are great, though!
