Waypoint
Time has a habit of slipping by quickly, weeks turn into months and the first muddy hikes of winter are now the wildflower filled trips of spring. Work gets in the way and my chances to update my adventures seem few and far in between. It’s like during a long hike and through the miles you suddenly reached the halfway point on the trail and it’s time to make another turn towards your destination.
The first few hikes were slogging mud-filled marches with the occasional backwards tumble down a ravine. The longer days and sunshine have put more color on the trail in the past trips. So to catch up here are the sights on the trail so far this year from Mount Diablo, Round Valley, Pleasanton Ridge and the Las Trampas Wilderness.
The flowers have beautiful colors.
