Red Sky at Night
Smoke from wildfires burning in the region left a smudge in the night sky giving the moon rise a fiery tone.
I was too late getting into position to catch the sun’s disk setting but I captured the orange hues reflecting in the smoke.
The smoke’s pall cast a glow on the moon as it crept out of the layer of smoke just above the horizon making an eerie sight.
